BASE has developed a new practical guide designed to help small and medium-sized businesses better understand how Supported Employment, and programmes such as the Department for Work and Pensions’ Connect to Work, can support them to attract, develop and retain disabled and neurodivergent talent.

Created with SMEs in mind, the guide has been designed to be clear, concise and easy to use, focusing on the areas that matter most to employers, including:

• Reducing recruitment risk
• Improving staff retention
• Accessing a wider and often overlooked pool of talent

The resource aims to provide practical, accessible guidance for businesses looking to build more inclusive workplaces while strengthening recruitment and retention outcomes.
