Call for side panels and interactive workshops

We are inviting expressions of interest for contributors to the 16th European Supported Employment Conference, taking place on 7th–8th December 2026 at ACC Liverpool. Use this page to understand the format, what we are looking for and how to submit.

We are inviting proposals that connect clearly to the 2026 conference theme and help delegates learn from strong supported employment practice across Europe.

Share practice, research and lived experience

We welcome submissions from practitioners, researchers, employers, policy leaders, people with lived experience and partners from across the supported employment community. Proposals should connect clearly to The Art of the Possible: Connecting the Dots and help delegates learn from grounded, values-led work.

Panel format

Side panels

Side panels run alongside workshops and create space for multiple perspectives on key supported employment issues.

  • 55-minute session length.
  • Up to three panellists plus a chair.
  • Short inputs followed by chair-led discussion and audience questions.
  • Themes include quality across Europe, transitions from education to work, workforce development, employer perspectives and research on sustainable jobs.
Workshop format

Interactive workshops

Interactive workshops should be practical, participatory and clearly connected to the conference theme and supported employment values.

  • 55-minute session length.
  • Actively involve participants through discussion, reflection, case studies or group work.
  • Topics can include employer engagement, in-work support, career development, inclusive supported employment, education pathways, self-employment and marketing supported employment services.
  • Other strong workshop topics are welcome where the link to the conference theme is clear.

Important information

  • Unfortunately, we cannot offer free delegate places for panel or workshop presenters.
  • All sessions will be delivered in English.
  • Submission of an Expression of Interest does not guarantee a place in the final programme.
