Who is this training for?

This course is ideal for frontline professionals who are responsible for, or involved in, employer engagement. Whether you’re new to the role or looking to strengthen your approach, this training will help you build both confidence and competence in developing lasting employer relationships.

Course Aim

The course supports professionals to bring the core values of supported employment to life by shifting employer engagement from vacancy-filling to genuine collaboration. You’ll learn how to build trust, communicate value, and foster inclusive practices that benefit both employers and job seekers.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the session, participants will:

  • Understand the business benefits of inclusive employment across the full employee lifecycle
  • Learn how to progress employer relationships into strategic partnerships
  • Master the art of job analysis and how to communicate its value to employers
  • Support employers through inclusive recruitment processes
  • Guide employers in implementing reasonable adjustments throughout the employee journey
  • Know when and how to use tools such as job shaping and accessible technology

  • Duration: Four online sessions (3.5 hrs per session) or 2 full days face-to-face
