Course Aim

This course provides an in-depth exploration of each stage of the supported employment model. Through a combination of taught sessions, portfolio work, professional discussions, and observations, learners will: 

  • Develop a deeper understanding of best practices 
  • Apply learning directly to their own work 
  • Build confidence and capability to deliver impactful services for both customers and employers 

Guided by expert trainers and supported by a dedicated assessor, learners will complete six units: 

  1. Y/505/2401 – The Core Values of Supported Employment 
  1. M/617/1470 – Engaging Job Seekers in Supported Employment 
  1. F/505/2635 – Working with Jobseekers to Identify and Plan for Supported Employment 
  1. T/617/1471 – Engaging Employers in Supported Employment 
  1. A/505/2634 – Job Matching and Securing Supported Employment 
  1. T/505/2633 – In-Work Support and Career Development for Supported Employment 

Assessment is via a portfolio of evidence, including workbooks, work products, observations, and professional discussions.

  • Learners have 12 months to complete their portfolio
