Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to ticket purchases and related bookings made through this website for BASE Conference 2026 and any related BASE event products offered on this site. By placing an order, you agree to these terms together with any event-specific details shown on the relevant product page.

1. About BASE

British Association for Supported Employment (BASE) is registered in England and Wales as a company (No. 05794990) and charity (No. 1136395).

2. Ticket sales and availability

All tickets are sold subject to availability. Ticket types, prices, eligibility and booking windows may vary. Where a ticket is described as being limited to a particular membership type, organisation type or booking window, you are responsible for selecting the correct ticket.

3. Accuracy of booking information

You must provide accurate contact, delegate and billing information when placing an order. BASE may contact you if the ticket selected does not match the details supplied or if further information is needed to complete your booking.

4. Prices and payment

All prices shown on the website are the prices payable at the time of booking unless stated otherwise. Payment must be made using one of the payment methods made available at checkout. A booking is not confirmed until payment has been successfully authorised or other payment arrangements have been accepted by BASE.

5. Order confirmation

After you place an order, you should receive an order confirmation email. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact BASE using the contact details published on the website as soon as possible.

6. Ticket eligibility and corrections

Some ticket types are intended only for specific groups, such as members, micro-members or partner members. If an incorrect ticket is purchased, BASE reserves the right to request additional payment, move the booking to the correct ticket type, or contact you to resolve the issue before the event.

7. Changes, substitutions and transfers

If you need to update delegate details, request a substitution or discuss a transfer, please contact BASE as early as possible. BASE will try to help where reasonably possible, but changes may not be possible close to the event date.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Any request to cancel a booking must be made in writing to BASE. Where an event-specific cancellation policy applies, that policy will take precedence. If BASE cancels the event entirely, BASE will contact affected attendees with the options available at that time.

9. Event changes

BASE may need to make reasonable changes to the event programme, speakers, schedule, venue, format or timings. Such changes do not automatically entitle a ticket holder to a refund unless BASE states otherwise.

10. Conduct and attendance

Attendees are expected to behave respectfully toward speakers, staff, volunteers, sponsors and other delegates. BASE reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee whose behaviour is unsafe, unlawful, abusive or seriously disruptive.

11. Accessibility and special requirements

If you have accessibility requirements or need specific support in order to attend, please contact BASE as early as possible so arrangements can be discussed.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that, BASE will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, travel or accommodation costs, or losses arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control.

13. Privacy

Personal information submitted through this website will be handled in line with the BASE privacy policy published on this site.

14. Contact

If you have questions about your booking or these terms, please contact BASE using the details provided on the website.
